Research at the Department is also being carried out in specific fields which are set slightly apart from the five dominant research fields, as for example gender and property rights, pursued by Ann Ighe. This also includes research into The West¿s view on the Soviet Union and assessment of its strength. Researcher in this field is Martin Kahn.
